London, April 29: Amidst all the hype and fanfares surrounding the Royal wedding, the marriage between Prince William and Kate Middleton has been solemnised. The young couple exchanged marital vows in a royal occasion of dazzling pomp and pageantry, witnessed by a global audience.Kate Middleton, is the first "commoner" to marry a prince in close proximity to the throne in over 350 years.
Queen Elizabeth, David and Victoria Beckham, Elton John and British Prime Minister David Cameron were among the famous guests at the Westminster abbey. They joined 50 heads of the state, some charity workers and Afghanistan war veterans who know prince William from his military training days.
Apart from that nearly 600,000 visitors from across the world have thronged the city of London to witness the royal wedding which is also being touted as the Wedding of the Century.
